How to set up a GMT or 24-hour hand
Short answer: A GMT or 24-hour hand shows a second time zone, or the time of day on a 24-hour scale. On most watches it is set separately from the main hour hand.
How real watches do it
| Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon | Crown 2: the hour hand jumps 1 hour, the date follows over midnight. |
|---|---|
| Omega Speedmaster '57 Co-Axial Master Chronometer | Same jumping-hour routine, hand-wound. |
